Not all insurance plans cover all mental health services. Please call or use your insurance portal to verify your benefits. Common visit codes you will want to ensure coverage for:
Intake code (90791)
Individual therapy codes (90832, 90834, 90837)
Family therapy (90847, 90846)
Deductibles, Copays, & Coinsurance
Please verify with your plan if services will fall under any of these types of benefit costs and have your insurance explain what to expect.
It is common for plans to have a deductible, which is an amount that needs to be paid out of pocket before other benefits, like a coinsurance, kicks in. Deductibles are the amount you would be responsible for paying and often resets at the beginning of the year. These amounts will be the contracted rate Orca Counseling has with your insurance plan.
